In 1970, Heinrich Kahl and Peter Schlichterle founded the company in Ernsthausen, occupying a space of just 140 square metres. Just a few years later, the refurbishment of used machines and equipment for the beverage industry was added as a business area, a field that continues to define Kahl & Schlichterle to this day.
Over the decades, not only have the premises and team grown, but so too have the technical capabilities and the international focus. Today, Kahl & Schlichterle combines machinery trading, reconditioning, in-house manufacturing and technical service across 13,000 m² of premises. Around 50 employees manage machinery and projects for customers worldwide. As a third-generation family business, the company continues the legacy that began in Ernsthausen in 1970.
