Buying or selling machinery is often just one part of the process. Kahl & Schlichterle also supports you with the steps leading up to, during and following the transaction.
Our services
Project support from planning to commissioningTechnical work, logistics and project management are often interlinked. Our services can be used individually or combined to suit your project.
Machines and production lines are professionally dismantled and prepared for transport and reassembly. Even more extensive relocations can be managed through a series of project stages.
We organise the safe transport of machinery and equipment worldwide. In doing so, we tailor the logistics to the specific machine, location and project schedule.
For international machinery projects, we provide support with the necessary administrative procedures and associated documentation. This ensures that organisational requirements are incorporated into the project planning at an early stage.
Insurance cover for machinery and transport can also form part of the project management process. The type of insurance required depends on the machine, the route of transport and the project.
Dismantling, transport and reassembly cannot always take place immediately one after the other. For such project phases, machines and systems can be stored temporarily if required. Kahl & Schlichterle has warehouses available at various locations across Europe for this purpose.
Existing machines can be adapted to meet changing technical requirements, formats or container types. Some of the required format and changeover parts, as well as other components, can be manufactured in-house.
Following transport or relocation, we carry out the assembly and technical integration at the new site. We then oversee the recommissioning of the machine or production line.
Once the equipment is commissioned, we’ll support your staff in using the technology. We’ll also remain your contact person for technical queries and any further adjustments.
Our technicians and electronics engineers carry out maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting and repairs. Depending on the task, support is available either on-site or via remote diagnosis.
Retrofit & custom manufacturing
Made in-houseA new machine is not always the best solution. In our own workshop and production facility, we overhaul and modernise existing machines and adapt them to changing production requirements.
From mechanical modifications and the modernisation of control systems to the manufacture of bespoke components, as well as format and changeover parts, we have the technical capabilities to further develop tried-and-tested machines in a targeted manner. This allows existing equipment to continue to be used cost-effectively and to be prepared for new tasks.
Even after installation and commissioning, Kahl & Schlichterle remains your contact person for all technical matters. Our technicians and electronics engineers carry out inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, and provide support with technical modifications and retrofits. Where possible, this work is carried out directly at your premises. Depending on the task, a remote diagnosis may suffice, or the equipment at our site in Burgwald may be used.
This service applies regardless of where the machine was purchased:
- Inspection & Condition Assessment
- Maintenance & Servicing
- Troubleshooting & Repair
- Retrofits & technical modifications
- Spare parts supply
- Format & changeover parts
